New Delhi. In the fight against Corona support from all the corners is continue. The new name added to this list is Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeoscience. BSIP an autonomous Institute under the department of Science and Technology has partnered with a private Diagnostic firm to start testing for corona virus from upcoming week. All are appreciating this step of educational institute took in favour of humanity
Incharge ancient DNA lab BSIP doctor Neeraj Rai told PTI We have all the necessary kits for precaution and we know principle and applications for dealing with such sample After the tie up. We are ready with Corona testing from next week-
Dr Rai said, “If we get approvals which are in the pipeline we will be able to test 30-40 thousand send a way to which is the need of hour”
Cost is expected to be less than rupees thousand per sample and for a large set of population this can be even less than rupees 700 provided 500 samples are screened together” Ashish Dubey co-founder Radcliffe Life sciences speaking on testing cost with PTI .
Since testing Labs in Uttar Pradesh is very less and Corona is an epidemic disease undoubtedly its an appreciable step. It is good if followed by the other Institutions also.
