New Delhi :<\/strong><\/p>\nIndian Institute of Technology (IIT-Bombay) has started to work on their 5th space thermed project. IIT-Bombay begun work in designing an X-ray space telescope which is named as ‘Daskha’ to study gravitational waves.<\/p>\n
To ensure continuous coverage of the entire sky –<\/strong>
\nThe project comprises two satellites to be deployed on opposite sides of the earth to ensure continuous coverage of the entire sky. Like India\u2019s first space telescope, Astrosat Daksha will be deployed 650 metres above the earth\u2019s surface.<\/p>\nDaksha will be IIT-B\u2019s fifth space-themed project. The first was the Pratham student satellite launched on September 26,2016. The second is under development. Advitity is the second project.<\/p>\n
