DU Admission Against 5th Cut-Off List starts tomorrow, less than 5,000 seats remaining
New Delhi :
The University of Delhi admissions in Undergraduate courses against DU 5th cut-off 2020 will start from November 9. There are 70,000 seats in DU colleges for undergraduate students. According to an official statement, Over 65,000 seats have been filled so far. “There have been 65,393 admissions so far under the fourth cut off list. Final data about number of students who have paid fee will be available by Monday,” a DU official told PTI.

Admission to the majority of Arts and Science programmes –
Further in his statement, the official said, “The eligible candidates who meet the requirements notified in the fifth admission cut off list are advised to take admissions from November 9.” As per the DU 5th Cut-off 2020, admission to the majority of Arts and Science programmes were closed for different categories while there was a dip in cut off for Commerce programmes. In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Delhi University has adopted a completely online admission process.

– Check the course-wise DU fifth cut-off 2020
– Select the DU college and course
– Register online at the college websites
– Fill the application form
– Upload required documents
– Pay the DU admission fee and Submit the Form.
IIT Kanpur develops low cost sustainable batteries

Researchers of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has developed Low price point batteries. This have been developed by Tejas Kusurkar and Rishi Srivastava. The batteries are 100% sustainable and made with a material commonly available by Offgrid company which aims to service multiple industries such as renewables, microgrids, electric vehicles and utilities through its different variants of ZincGel batteries.

The start-up company has got support from Shell E4 which has conducted a 3-day event E4 programme encouraging the start-up industry around themes like Future of mobility, Digitalization of the energy industry, and Future of energy and the event consists of fireside chats, startup pitches and virtual networking sessions.
